Peaceful Spirit Youth Services
Peaceful Spirit Youth Services serves individuals under the age of 18. Peaceful Spirit Youth Services is much more than a treatment center for persons with alcohol or drug dependence. Youth participating in Peaceful Spirit Youth Services programs may participate because of:
- Concern of family members over drug/alcohol use
- Concern of youth or adults about drug/alcohol use by other family members
- Referral by schools or courts
All Peaceful Spirit Youth Services programs are non-residential. They include:
- Community-Based Rehabilitation and Continuing Care. This is a fancy name for a program that does counseling for youth and sometimes their family members.
- Multi-Systemic Therapy. This is known as an evidence-based model which has been extensively evaluated. It works to involve family, friends and other community services in helping teens change behaviors to become more successful in family relationships, personal and school relationships over time.
