The Training Advantage The Training Advantage (TTA) operates federally-funded job training programs in partnership with the State of Colorado Department Labor and Employment, and local employers. TTA is the job training partner housed in the Colorado Workforce Centers. Services operated by The Training Advantage are intended to be “seamless” to persons using the Workforce Centers. That is, persons seeking employment are provided with the services they need, in increasing intensity, depending on their individual skills and experience levels. They are not referred to multiple offices, but provided services at a single office. The Training Advantage focuses on specific subsets of job seekers: · Adults with specific needs for job seeking skills or job-specific skills · Youth entering the workforce · Dislocated workers (who have been laid-off/ terminated through no fault of their own.) · Southern Ute tribal members and other Native Americans in and around Ignacio, in partnership with the Southern Ute Indian Tribe The Training Advantage has offices in seven locations in Southwest Colorado: · Ignacio; Administration and Native American Services
